Eat Foam Styrofrom?

Eat Foam Styrofrom?
PROBLEM STATEMENT
Most of us know that styrofoam is bad for our body health as a type of chemical – styrene is released when it comes in contact with hot food. However, hawkers are still using styrofoam for takeaway food and our community is still consuming food from it.

OBJECTIVE
To remind people about the harmful effects of eating from styrofoam food packaging.

TAGLINE
Eat Foam Styrofrom? Knowing that eating from styrofoam packaging affects their health, people still do it because it is convenient so I switched the words up knowing that it is wrong. I made the slogan a question to make them realise their wrong decision.

TARGET AUDIENCE
20 – 45 year old working Singaporeans

APPLICATION OF THE POSTER
The poster will be applied on MRT stations and bus stations as most of the target audience uses public transport to go to school or to work. It will help to remind them about the harmful consequences of eating from styrofoam every time they see it at these places.
VIDEO PRESENTATION
As the poster could not show the ‘surprise’ feature of the gory organ sculpture, I made a video showing my overall concept. This 30 seconds video can be posted on social medias like Youtube, Facebook and Instagram as 70 percent of Singaporeans are active on social media according to an article on The Business Times (2017).
Thank you for viewing!:)
